The essays in this book were written at different times and reflect the author's long-held concerns of biblical interpretation -- how we read biblical texts through the lens of community. Not being satisfied with so many individualistic readings of the Bible, Kim suggests fresh new readings of the Bible through a critical, ideological lens of community. Topics include the survey of individualism and marginal readings of the Bible.
