Dodo
Concise little book on prayer by a spiritual titan, Saint Theophan the Recluse. Highly recommended for those that wish to delve deeper into Christian spirituality and prayer. Quick to read, but every paragraph is full of fruit to help you on your journey. Particularly recommended for people in Western culture disenchanted by their own forms of reformed Christian experience.
Pumpit
This is the best primmer on Orthodox and Apostolic prayer. It is definitely a book for those just beginning a true life of prayer. St. Theophan explained the right and wrong uses of written prayers of the Church, as well as their necessity. He walks the reader through with examples and explanations of the various aspects of prayer from the Prayer Rule, Schedule, places of prayer and various levels of prayer and much more in this little volume.

As with the other book of St. Theophan the Recluse, I recommended this volume to a Orthodox bookseller in Melbourne, and I believe he has ordered a few copies for his clients. Thank you.
