Ask, Seek, Knock book. That being said, I thought it was a pretty good book on prayer.

Ask, Seek, Knock book. While he does not go into depth, he does touch on several aspects of prayer and does so by addressing prayers in the bible, and also prayers through church history. When I received a review copy of this little book published by NavPress, I loved that Tony Jones had beautifully accomplished what I'd been trying to do in the Bible Prayers blog: provide a working definition of prayer, show prayer at work, give people a glimpse of the infinite healing power of God, and highlight Bible prayers or prayer principles that draw us closer to the Lord in the loving relationship God wants and we need. Well-done!
Ask, Seek, Knock is a good little book of prayers and musings on prayers by Tony Jones. The author uses a different translation of the Bible than I typically use, so it had me pondering the prayers from the Bible in a new light. Prayers from the Old Testament through the modern church are highlighted.
