I read this volume which is not as funny as the early books in the series. But it gives an insight to why and how Spike Milligan became who he was after the war. Interesting and honest.

Great if you like the humor of Monty Python; the Marx brothers et cetera. Some brilliant one liners and like the others in this series had me laughing like no other writer has ever done. Shows what life was really like in the army after being sent from the front due to shell shock. Rude, crude but oh so funny!
