James Murphy translation of Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler. It combines elements of autobiography with an exposition of Hitler's political ideology. Volume 1 of Mein Kampf was published in 1925 and Volume 2 in 1926. Hitler began the dictation of the book while imprisoned for what he considered to be "political crimes" after his failed revolution in Munich in November 1923.

As Führer, Adolf Hitler stands far above us all, but as a person he is as our father or bother. Although Mein Kampf was not the exact blueprint for Hitler’s later reign, the book establishs an ideological framework from which he didn’t deviate until the very end in the bunker in Berlin in 1945.

As Führer, Adolf Hitler stands far above us all, but as a person he is as our father or bother. Tatsachen und Lügen um Hitler. Long story short, if your kid wants to be a painter or a song writer, Save the humanity and let them fucking b. . He himself speaks of a granite foundation of his world view, which he already acquired at the age of 20.

A necessary book to remind us all. A book that should never be banned or burned.

A necessary book to remind us all.

Bought this for my son. He's obsessed with all things WW2 related. I haven't read it, but he has. He enjoys reading other view points.

I Highly recommend it as it was clear and accurate free of outside opinions.

This is the one you’ve been waiting for. Side by side English and German, so I can both work on my German and critique the translation. Highly recommended if you want to make a real study of this work. Looking forward to Vol. 2, which I assume will follow at some point, although I have months of study here.

If you read this book with focus, objectivity, and equip yourself with the tools for critical thinking, you will gain much insight into the causes of these endless wars and social upheavals that plague the planet today.

Good luck,

Good read, would recommend. Sheds light on early 20th century European history and one man's interpretation of the first world war and the after-effects. Filled with tirades and arguments against parliamentary democracy, Jews, Communism, prostitution, race mixing, and more as well as Hitlers views on how to counter these threats to his nationalistic vision. And despite long tirades and arguments, always eventful and never boring. Some notes are included to provide basic background for readers who might not be familiar with German history and cultural references.

A great read for those who wish to understand the ideals of Adolf Hitler and National Socialism.

I was trying to decide on which of the translations to go with and I'm glad I went with this one. The book is easy to read and follow although some of the sentences do tend to run on. Definitely worth a read.
An accurate translation unlike others where there are over 1500 errors in translation plus gives foot notes to understand statements which are historical or based on German culture that would otherwise be misunderstood.
