Stuart Bruce Kaufman was a University of Maryland professor, author and expert on the . He was born in New York City on Feb. 15, 1942 and grew up in North Miami Beach. Kaufman taught history at Morris Brown College in Atlanta from 1965 to 1967 and at Texas A&M University from 1967 to 1969.
