I will definitely rent textbooks from Amazon again. The transaction was seamless, the book arrived when promised, and the book appears to be brand new. It sure beats standing in line at my college bookstore and either searching for a used book in decent shape, or buying a new one and hoping it will still be used in an upcoming semester so that I can sell it back.

This book was very relevant to ethic in the IT field as well as generally. It was not very helpful for my class specifically at Oklahoma State University and I wish I had not purchased it, but it was informative at least.

This is probably the best text book I have had in a long time. Everything is clearly defined, definitions follow a bold-faced word, and examples are plentiful. Love this book. Excellent read.

Still a great deal, so i can't complain too much, but the entire book was fully filled out/underlined, etc.

Pros: Timely and relevant vignettes introduce each chapter. Information is well-organized and presented in a simple, easy-to-follow format. References include articles from as recent as 2011. Plenty of cases and review questions to help cement your newly acquired knowledge.

Cons: Though they are not lacking in quality, Cengage produce are pricey! Always shudder just a bit when I see them listed in course requirements. Adding page numbers to glossary entries would be a plus.

It's a pretty traditional textbook and is pretty dry throughout. However, it does provide some fairly decent case studies to try to apply the concepts. It worked for class, but I wouldn't keep it afterward - for what it is worth.

Good
Wish this had a better rating system, but I needed this for a class and I didn't really care for it. Also using the kindle version was hard to use for assignments.
