The Summer Noisy Book book. Beautiful bold illustrations by leonard wisegard compliment a sweet story about a puppy's journey to a farm. Margaret Wise Brown’s simple charm, but I’m not sure I’d want to read this aloud to little ones unless I really had the energy to commit to all the onomatopoeic noises. The striking illustrations are by Leonard Weisgard. It is not a first printing, as the list of titles on the rear flap ends with The Summer Noisy Book.

When our basement flooded, my son's childhood books from over 15 years ago, were ruined. I wanted to cry...but instead, I went to Amazon, typed in the title of all of those Margaret Wise Brown books and found them! I am so happy to have these again, and now my son can pass them down to the next generation. Thanks!

My daughter loves this book. It's about a dog who takes a car trip to a farm and hears all kinds of noises. It's best when read with enthusiasm. My daughter likes to make the noises along with me or whoever is reading. The illustrations are bright and colorful and the text is large and easy to read, this will probably be one of the first books she can read on her own.
