This book is precious. It was my kids favorite and not my grandkids favorite. It is a great book to have when there is a new baby coming or when getting a new puppy. I can hardly read it with out a tear or two.

My son's favorite childhood book was "Old Arthur". I found an old library copy and gave it to him for Christmas when he was 29 years old. He said it was his favorite gift ever! I then saw this book and bought it, too, saving it for grandchild someday.
