Christopher Wormell's hand cut block prints are exquisite! The illustrations are realistic and the information is factual. This is important to me coming from an AMI Montessori background where the goal is to offer factual information to pre-schoolers. In that way they can learn about the world around them. The rich and vibrant pictures are captivating. At the end of the book each page is encapsulated with the picture and more detailed information. Ages 0-6, yet I still love looking at them and I am the Grandma.

My children both love this book.

The artwork in this numbers book is fabulous. There is also an alphabet book by the same artist. Why not teach children about good art at the same time they learn letters and numbers?
