I teach preschoolers and they love story time! Many stories that I've read hoping to share with my kiddos have tragic endings (something or someone dies), have a high amount of come-uppance (sure I killed him, but he deserved it), or, the reverse, never get their due (laziest girl in Ireland ends up married to a prince and never having to work). This book is really great for stories that get away from many of those themes. Kids really connect with nature themes and I love the diversity in story types and originations. Really fantastic book that I highly suggest.
