By daylight, the Drumheller dinosaurs rest their ancient bones. But when the moon rises, so do these slumbering skeletons --- ready to tango, fandango, shimmy and shake! This exuberant read-aloud imagines what the dinosaur skeletons of world-famous Drumheller, Alberta, get up to when everyone's asleep. Kids will want to thumpity-thump along with these dynamic dinos as they dance across the dark, dusty Badlands.

Drumheller Dinosaur Dance book . Rollicking, rhythmic, and fun, Robert Heidbreder's Drumheller Dinosaur Dance is in my opinion truly in many ways a simply perfect choice for young dinosaur enthusiasts (although the fact that there are indeed quite a number of somewhat advanced vocabulary choices featured might well render the author's verses a trifle too potentially difficult and advanced for especially recently independent readers to tackle. Slavin and Melo’s appropriately eerie acrylics lead readers on a romp through a prehistoric landscape where triceratops tango and fossils fandango.

Saw this on BookABoo on Amazon and had to have it.
It’s almost like a dinosaur hip hop ????????

The chorus of this book reads: Boomity boom, rattley clack, thumpity thump, whickety whack

Catchy and fun, my 4 year old daughter loves reading along with the book. She cares not a lick about dinosaurs, but loves the way the words sound. We borrowed this from our local library so many times I finally bought a copy. I would highly recommend this to anyone reading to a child.

Wonderful story and great rhythmic beat. Fun to read out loud!

Even though I am an adult, I still love dinosaurs so I can't help but love this book! It is a fun, whimsical story/song about dinosaur fossils coming bakc to life. It is sure to engage youngsters, especially dinosaur-loving ones. If you like this book, you should also check out "Saturday Night at the Dinosaur Stomp." It is along the same vein, but the vocabulary is much richer...aren't you just dying to hear someone rhyme "cretaceous"?!?

My 4 year old son and 6 year old daughter LOVE this book, as do I. It's a fun read. The rhymes and illustrations are wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone, but it's especially nice if your little one is interested in dinosaurs or fossils.

This is a spooky dinosaur book with a fun rhythmic cadence. We first heard heard it read on the show Bookaboo and had to purchase it immediately!
