With his unique style, Willie danced across social and racial barriers right into history - tapping his way to the top! Born on March 4, 1897 in Atlanta, Georgia, Willie Cowan spent 60 years in show business. In the 1930s Willie moved to Hollywood and performed in many movie musicals.
