The cover of this charming book is beautiful, and makes you want to look inside.
The drawings are their usual best from this magnificently talented illustrator, and the collection of stories are some hand picked from the Little House series that we know and cherish so well.
The stories within are all about Laura's adventures with her sisters. Some with Laura and Mary only, and others with Carrie and Grace as well. This book is great for reading aloud or silently.

The book came fast and was in great condition, except for some severe water damage to the back cover and half of the lower edges of the pages, which were wet to the touch. The shipping box was falling apart and had been inserted into another box from the post office with a note saying that there was damage. This was in the middle of the Christmas season and my guess is that the post office was really busy and made a mistake.
