Yay! They have improved the battery situation. My copy has a pull tab on the music box and there are also mini screws and a picture of the required batteries on the back of the music box. The song has a bit of a chime quality. Very sweet for little ones. Looks like 3, R41 batteries -those button type (about the size of a chocolate chip) are needed.

I only gave it 1 star bc I had to. Did not work when it arived. And you can't change the battery. It only makes my grandbaby cry bc she sees the button and wants to here it. I had to throw the book away. I tried contacting the seller the day it came in the mail. No answer to this day!

disappointing:( don't buy because of the wheels on the bus book being so awesome as I did....the music doesn't go with the lyrics. plays just the beginning part, not the eieio etc. better if there wasn't any music at all.

If I could rate this a zero star I would. Sadly when we received this book it didn't work. The music would never play, and it isn't possible to replace the batteries. :( This is the second book we have gotten like this. The first was The Wheels on the Bus, and it only worked for a couple of weeks. Now my son tries to press the button and gets so disappointed when it won't work.

The song this plays does not sync up with the actual lyrics of the song as written. So it's constantly frustrating. The button only has one verse, but when you sing the next verse, the button only has the music for the first. Frustrating. Also, not as cute as the school bus or the stream one, which are big favorites at our house.

This was NOT a new book, as my order said. I am very disappointed in Amazon. The book was also Warped/Bent and Broken. The sound button did nothing, did not make animal sounds. This book was used but I paid the top price and it said it was NEW. I will not have time before the birthday party, to get a new one sent, and actually, wouldn't trust doing that anyway.

I bought this book December of 2014. My granddaughter was born the month before. She is now currently 10 months old and has only recently started enjoying books. Her mother told me she loved this book. She just learned to push the button to make the sound but the book has already stopped playing music. Personally I think Amazon should send me a new book since the book has stopped playing in less than a year.

This is a book we bought to replace one that has been constantly used by our toddler grandchildren for over 2 years. The battery died and we couldn't find these books at retail stores anymore. The grandchildren will be so happy to have more sing-along books!
