A wonderful classic. I'm sure my little one will enjoy reading it...after I read it. A great gift for those special children.

Thank you very much. My mother will enjoy this and I will also. It was in great shape when I received it.

I first picked this up at a used book store on the recommendation of the owner. It hit the mark perfectly for my 12 year old. He is not a strong reader, and doesn't take easily to books. He found this one impossible to put down! It is Jack London, at a lower level, and so healthy for young male readers today when so much of what is written is not positive and productive to a young man's mind. Kids should be reading more books like this one.

I read Mr. Steele when I was a child and remember his well written books years later. He does a wonderful job illustrating the scenes and provides an excellent opportunity to tell todays youth of how it was like to live back then. Great Reading....never outdated
