I'm a professional chef. I have many cookbooks, some used and some not so much. When I first ordered this book I thought ok might have some interesting ideas.

Not so, it has some GREAT ideas! It is so refreshing to find a book that does just offer the same stuff with different names.

Jean starts you off by getting you comfortable with sauces and various doughs. I have enjoyed the dough section very much and found several other uses like bread sticks/twists.

The most fun recipe so far for my husband and I is the grilled pizza. Being in S. Calif it gets HOT out here and the last thing I want to do is turn on the oven. Well grilled pizza to the rescue! Make the dough the day before, have your toppings ready and take that to the next family bbq. Talk about a wow factor!

This little book is a wealth of foolproof and tested recipes. I was having trouble making pizza crusts. Mine all turned out tough and flavorless. On advice from a friend, I purchased this little book and haven't looked back since. I now produce flavorful pizzas that don't get tossed into the trash. Wonderful investment! Great little stocking stuffer! You won't regret this purchase.

Like a Pizza called "the works," this little book is full of layers and layers of tasty pieces of information presented in a format that even a "newby" cook can embrace. What a great wedding present this would make! I can't wait to get a wedding invite so I can assemble a complete pizza-making "kit" ala Jean's complete coverage of how much or how little one needs to craft mouth-watering pizzas. At our house, the greatest addition was that of a peel.CounterArt Bamboo Pizza Peel This gem of a book gives the cook permission to be innovative... to take shortcuts that do not compromise quality, and play! This is now officially my 'go to' cookbook for pizza making at home. There are several different recipes for crusts, sauces and toppings to choose from. This makes pizza making at home so easy. Great tips including the amazing 'cheese pillows' tip that is sooooo good. And if you have never tried grilling a pizza, you will be amazed at how easy it actually is. My kids are officially spoiled and we may never order pizza in again!
Before buying this book, I only made homemade pizza once in a while, and had never tried grilling it. Now, we rarely order a pizza from a restaurant or take-out!

I am new to the homemade pizza scene. I have been wanting to try making pizza at home. Thought it would be a good summer project with the kids. This book has been so helpful! It really took a lot of the guess work out of it. Love all the variations of pizza. We followed some and made up some of our own. The dough varieties and sauce sections get you started, you take off from there. Really great book.

This book is small in size so is perfect for gifts: Stocking stuffers, teachers thank you, hostess gift, house warming, bridal shower - you name it. Give alone or pair it with a pizza cutter and/or a pizza stone. Any recipient will be thrilled with it.
I have made my own pizzas before and honestly liked buying from a small pizza shop better.......until I tried the recipes in Pizza,Pizza,Pizza!! Chef Jean walks you through all of the basics, including several dough recipes to try. There are so many creative ideas for toppings and sauces the combinations are limitless. I tried grilling pizza for the first time and her instructions were perfect. We have never had pizza this delicious in our entire lives. It is so easy to do and the results phenomenal. A fabulous little book for sure!
