This book has a lot of great information about planning curriculum that is approriate for the developmental stages that the children in your group are at. It has some good lesson plan examples and gives some really great explainations of how to plan various types of lesson plans as well as information on how to plan a field trip. One of my favorite parts of this book is the chapters that detail how to intigrate your curriculum into pretend and construction play and how to intigrate your curriculum into thematic plans.

I needed this book for a class I am taking. I found the book way lower priced on here then anywhere else. I was scared it would be falling apart but was very pleased to see it in a good condition.

I use it for my class that I have to write lesson plans. It helps me understand what I need to use in a lesson plan.
This book is a great textbook and resource for best practices in early childhood and appropriate curriculum. I finished my college course 6 classes ago and still use it in every early childhood class I take as an excellent resource.
