Anyone that has seen the New Yankee Workshop on PBS knows of Norm Abram. I have been a big fan of This Old House and New Yankee Workshop forever it seems. I would sit and watch week after week being amazed at Norm's ability and his collection of tools.

I basically bought this book because I wanted plans for Norm Abrams woodworking bench in my shop in my new house. We all know Norm's faults and that he relies on power tools too much etc, but after thumbing through the book I have to say it's a well thought out book for a e woodworker. If you actually took the time to do every project in the book you would practice a vast array of basic woodworking skills.

The new yankee work shop was filmed at the barn o. .Russ morash's property. Does any one know if the workshop is still up and running or was it tore down after the show stopped. This property was also the setting for the victory garden another show created by Russ morash. It was the sight of the suburban garden and Lexington gardens on the show.
