the author does not elaborate more about certain key points when he/she actually needs but talk too much when certain points are very intuitive and easy.

As a graduate student who is currently taking a course whose reference book is this one, I feel this is just an average book. Ones still need to go online to search for more elaboration and explanations from time to time.
