I became intrigued after reading some excerpts of this book in an article I read online. When I decided that I needed to find a copy for myself I could not find a copy anywhere online. I finally managed to get my hands on a copy at a local bookstore and read it cover to cover in a couple of days. I couldn't put the book down! The story of Dean and his wife and their transformation is simply amazing! Here was a man who seemingly had everything...money, fame, women, etc, yet he wanted to die. He soon found that the one thing he was lacking was that personal relationship in knowing Jesus Christ. In this book you will follow Dean through his journey to becoming a Christian and how Hollywood blackballed him for his faith. It's quite a journey! This book helped me to find the truth for myself. I am so very thankful that Dean wrote this book. If you are searching for answers and have an open heart, I encourage you to order a copy of this book. It could change your life like it did mine!

Dean Jones proves himself not only a great actor, but a wonderful writer as well. He shares the painful incidents of his childhood in the larger context of his life; showing how they affected him, but also prepared him for the life he would ultimately lead. Far from the public image of the handsome, good-natured, "everyman" who proved good guys do finish first, Dean Jones was haunted by emptiness. He was insightful enough to see the futility of trying to fill his life with work, accolades, and other less wholesome pursuits, but at a loss to find the answer. Not until he died to himself did he begin to live. Read his inspiring story, and come to believe again that the loveliest of love stories are the ones that are true.

Great book with lots of transparency! Provides an unfavorable view into the the tinsel of the world. And then shows how only God can bring us real life!

An autobiography, both interesting and inspiring, by an actor running from Heaven's hounds, in his journey to success and true fulfillment! Artful!
