Don't think.Don't question.Just do.The anonymous note wasn't for me.Don't get me wrong, I'm not in the habit of reading other people's mail, but it was just a piece of paper with a few lines scrawled on it, clearly meant for the apartment upstairs. It looked so innocent, but decidedly— deliciously—it was not. Before replacing the note—and the ones that followed— in its rightful slot, I devoured its contents: suggestions, instructions, commands. Each was more daring, more intricate and more arousing than the last… and I followed them all to the letter. Before the notes, if a man had told me what to do, I'd have told him where to go. But submission is an art, and there's something oddly freeing about doing someone's bidding…especially when it feels so very, very good. But I find that the more I surrender, the more powerful I feel—so it's time to switch up roles. We play by my rules now.

This is the first Megan Hart book that I didn’t really get – I just didn’t get it. I mean, I’m reading the story and I can see Harts style of writing – its real and deep – but at the same time I just didn’t feel it had much direction. Paige loves her stationary, not just any plain old paper, we’re talking fancy stuff. SWITCH – I sit here staring at my computer screen, a little dumbfounded after just finishing, Switch.

The Space Between Us. This book is dedicated first to Superman, who can’t dance. All we need is right here. The two of us will find a way to make things work. That it will all be okay

Talk about Switch

Submission is a relief when life is so hectic that sometimes you just don’t want to think. It was the secret notes that were making it into her mailbox by mistake that made her submit. Waiting, wondering, and reading each one allowed her to tap into the unknown, just before forwarding it to the rightful owner.
Eric, a man she met in passing, a man she noticed, a man she smiled at. Could this be her new beginning? Could this be the person receiving the notes? When she finds out she decides to carry on being the director in this. To watch him follow her every command, breaking it to him was going to be an experience.
Austin, her ex-husband, knew her too well. The break up not good, but okay because it was only the two of them. But when she runs into him again, does she see enough change to change her mind.
Who will win her heart? You will have to read to find out.
Another book I enjoyed by Megan Hart.
It's a Megan Hart novel. Everything I expected and more. Sometimes you need to discover who you are before you are able to move on with your life. Have to say it once again excellent writing Megan Hart.
A definite 5 stars... Powerful and Brilliantly written. Great-character development. A marvelous passion filled, tragic, enthralling and breath-taking read.

"There’s something powerful, though, about a handwritten note. Something personal and aching to be profound."

"Sometimes, you turn back. Sometimes, you walk away. And sometimes, you find the place you’re meant to be, and you stay there. You find a way to make it work. Whatever it takes."
Paige has led a relatively dull existence. After divorcing her high school beau (and remaining friends with benefits), having a strained relationship with her father, and hoping to be like anyone but her flighty mother, she is intrigued by a letter inadvertently left in her box. She gets caught up in the fantasy of the letters as well as her sexy neighbor, who appears to have been the intended recipient. She finds a sense of fulfillment and a more dominant side of her personality as a result, which starts to spill into her work life and relationship with her boss.

Hart never surprises me with the envelope pushing. While "Switch" was not nearly as excellent as some of her earlier work, it is still a really good novel, mixing eroticism with deep emotion and insight into the protagonist and her motivations. You just never know what alley she will turn down, as the stories take on a life of their own and she never disappoints. After putting it aside for a few months, I picked it up and read it in a day. I liked the surprise ending - it came out of left field for me.
Some reviewers seem to be upset that this book isn't smuttier. It's true that it's not loaded with tons of graphic sex, but for me there was a lot of erotic tension woven through the story, and the actual sex scenes were plenty hot, not least because of their emotional/psychological undergirding. Paige and I might not be friends if she were a real person -- we're very different -- but I didn't have trouble relating to her or caring about her journey.

I found the novel engaging and well-written throughout, with only some very minor editing issues. The denouement didn't surprise me -- I'm not sure if it was meant to -- but it didn't let me down, either. Switch is about the psychology of power; about the ways we let other people define us, and how that can be limiting or empowering; and about the intricacy of desire. If you're open to a novel that goes beyond titillation to explore all these areas, then I recommend it.
When I read what this was about, I thought finally, a book about a woman being the dominant one instead of the man. Not the case at all. The entire book is about a woman whose ex is obsessed with her, and how she keeps getting notes in her mail box that aren't meant for her, but are notes telling someone what to do, like tell yourself you are beautiful today. Spoiler...... You never find out who is actually writing the notes, and as for any kind of romance, it just fizzles. Not worth the read. Huge dissapointment.
The story was interesting enough, held my interest. I liked Janek's sleuthing ability, and the characters were likable enough. There was a lot of back and forth between the murder victims, seemed to drag a bit. I will consider reading another Janek novel, but it's not on the top of my list at the moment. Did not care for all the lovey dovey girlfriend parts, just seemed added but not overly important to the story. Somehow she annoyed me.
When I was about to purchase this book, it was only rated 2 stars. Now that I've read it I realize it was EXTREMELY underated. Now the rating is climbing... rightfully so. As the book goes on, there are unexpected twists and turns. It isnt JUST an erotic novel, but a great story. Paige is easy to relate to and there was nothing in this book (like the main character being filthy rich like in 50 shades) that a lot of people couldnt relate to on 1 level or another.
second book of the author I read, wasnt crazy about either books of hers. Gave her 2 shots, she write to much details in her scenes. I lose interest
