In the grand tradition of Christmas stories is another, The Ghost by William Douglas O'Connor. This is in the tradition of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. It's simpler story but nonetheless as unforgettable. It's a story of a friendship that never dies, and a love that always endures. As every Christmas should not be without A Christmas Carol, it should not be without The Ghost. Read it; enjoy it; live its meaning.

This book is an excellent read; for those that enjoy ghostly narratives. The story was eloquently written but easy to read and one that you will want to finish once started. It is a different take on the Scrooge story but way more frightening. The author sets the mood beautifully, enabling the reader to experience the surroundings as if they were there themselves. Give this one a shot you will not regret.

This is a beautifully written story that will touch your heart and warm your soul at Christmas time and throughout the year. Even though this story was written well over 100 yrs ago, it's lesson is ageless. Especially in our current time of world upheaval, this story delivers much needed hope and love.

Reminded me of "A Christmas Carol." More sentimental than scary. Well-written in that old-fashioned flourish.
