Talk about A Rich Man's Baby

It was an okay listen. The cliffhanger does not make a lot of sense in this new technological age. The decline of Adrian's mental went from 0 to 100. Tanisha was okay until that ending. It did not go with the character that was presented up until that point. Adrian's transfer from respectable nurse to thot was lightening quick. Because of the quick change in attitude and personality of each character, I feel I'm missing some details in their history. What happened to Jeremy? Did he learn any lessons? Will he?

In Rich Man's Baby we are introduced to Tanisha,Adrienne and Dionne.Tanisha is in her 30's and is divorced with three kids and Adrienne is a nurse in her 20's who is tired of working hard.Adrienne and Tanisha work at the same place but don't really know each other but soon becomes friends and then they start going out, hitting the party scene in search of NBA ballers.Dionne just finished school and is a new lawyer who is currently engaged to be married but can't leave her ex beau Kevin alone who plays ball in Italy but soon comes back to the US to play.Kevin and Tanisha hit it off and Dionne is furious and deranged.Adrienne lands a NBA baller and gets pregnant by him then he finds out about her past. The book was slow through the beginning but quickly picked up.Once it did it was hard to put down but when I got to the end...well let's just say it could have been better.I really didn't like the ending.I found it unrealistic.I know it's fiction but it could have been better than it was.I liked Daaimah's earlier books way better than this one and All I Want Is Everything.I hope the next book is better.

I enjoyed reading A Rich Man's Baby it was good from the beginning to end. I couldn't put it down because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. This book is a definite page-turner. I was shocked when I read the last page and found out it really was the last page. I couldn't believe it. I said to myself, I know she playin'! I was affectionately calling Ms. Poole all kinds of names. How could she end the book like that? How could she leave me hanging? She must be kidding. I kept going back and forth trying to figure out if I missed something. But, no, Ms. Poole was not kidding, that was the last page. I need more! I need to know what happened with Tanisha Butler, Adrienne Sheppard, and Dionne Matthews. Ms. Poole I hope the sequel will be available real soon (like tomorrow). :o) Please hurry because the suspense is killing me.

I'd also like to thank Ms. Poole for offering her books in Kindle format. I've had my Kindle for nearly a year and I refuse to purchase a paperback, or hardcover book. So, thank you again Ms. Poole for thinking of us with Kindles. I appreciate you. Keep up the good work and I wish you much success!

Daaihmah Poole is one of my favorite authors and she keeps getting better and better. I gave this book 4 stars because the ending was kinda wierd, it left me confused.

Adrienne is a twenty something nurse who is tired of working so hard. Adrienne is looking for that special man to take care of her. Preferrably a NFL or NBA player....

Tanisha is a thirty something divorced mother of three. Once Tanisha and Adrienne hook up, they start hitting the party scene and NBA games looking for MR. Balling-out-of control. Dionne is a new lawyer and after several years of school she is on her way! Dionne has a successful finaccee in Terrance, but her heart belongs to Kevin who is in Italy playing basketball.

Kevin returns to the states and meets Tanisha and they fall in love. This makes Dionne furious and she loses control. Meanwhile Adrienne lands her baller and has his baby, but will her "groupie" past come back to haunt her??

Having a rich man's baby and dating a baller is never easy. This fast paced must read novel will show you why!!

I thought that the actions of Tanisha were unbelievable. For someone who seemed to have more sense than the other two women Daaimah had her looking like a complete idiot in the end. The notes, bullets...and what she did about it was unbelievable. The ending was downright stupid. Unless she come out with a sequel that clean all of this mess up I will not buy another book. She was not a bad mother so for her to run off like that and leave her children (especially a newborn) and the man she loved because she didn't want to go to jail for something she didn't does...give me a break!!!

When I first started this book I loved how you got to know each character and were able to follow them on their journey. I got a little frustrated with Adrienne's character but I pushed through. Fast forward to the last couple of chapters where everything seemed to go crazy. Dee went crazy, Adrienne's big come up was a let down and Tanisha lost her damn mind. I hated the way this book ended. I understand the author wants us to read the sequel but I'm not sure I want to.

I Liked this book it had a few twists that helped the storyline. Adriene was so selfish and I just couldn't believe she convinced Tanisha to be so stupid. And dumb Dionne just went off the deep end. There was a lot of this story left unresolved and I hope the author graces us with a conclusion.
I really did enjoy this book until the end. This book was a page turner until the end. I feel like the author was pressed to meet her deadline and had to throw an ending on. The ending was unrealistic and rushed. Although I really enjoyed the book I was VERY disappointed at the ending. I hope Damiah provide us with a part II.
