This book isnt filled with a bunch of unnecessary garbage. Really gets down to brass tacks.

I assumed this would be a great resource like modern residential wiring (MRW)but it's virtually a carbon copy but smaller than MRW in fact MRW covers most of the topics in this book. it's full of common light switch schematics. no big detail in larger distribution box's no wiring of commercial specific items. there is some extra code stuff in there but i was highly dissatisfied with this purchase. had wasted 3 chapters explaining electricity principle same as MRW. i was expecting transformer details, ballast lights, light sizing, my experience level is 11yr Commercial/residential HVAC tech that works in commercial buildings and often does electrical work in small projects i felt that the value in MRW was above and beyond this was a letdown no difference between this and MRW so i need to find commercial specific literature elsewhere.
