Inspecting Works (Good Practice Guide). Having now read about five of the RIBA Good Practice Guides (including the woefully poor "Marketing" and "Starting A Practice") I was on the cusp of abandoning using this series as reference material. My faith has been somewhat restored in this excellent guide by Owen Luder. It is intelligently and clearly written and its references the real world - what can go wrong, why, how to deal with it when it does. The explanation of the merits of various contract forms is particularly succinct and cuts straight to the point.
