This book is written for a 10 year old by a 10 year old. Has the plain basic info. If you spent more than 5 minutes in a room with a dog then you know more about dogs then the author.

Love Beth. What more can I say
Simple fellow
I have bought 16 copies of this book so far and I give one to all of my friends and clients with dogs. I love the simplicity with which it was written. I have never relate to other dog “how-to” books like Caesar Milan because the techniques are uncomfortable, but Beth Stern just streamlined what you need to know in a relatable way. Plus, on a personal note, she seems kinda awesome from her interviews and what I know from Howard Stern and I love her politics, and the North Shore Animal League.

I really like all the information, I keep reading the book and learning about all type of dog related issues.
It is very simplified. She did go to a lot of professionals with questions that we all have with our pets. I was just surprised at the very simple questions and then of course the obvious answers. I wanted a book that really gave me a good insite on how to train my puppy and correct bad behaviors. I have not finished it yet. It is the kind of book that you can put down and get back to when you feel like it.

Maybe it should be read as a text book and not from cover to cover. Maybe go to each question you have about your pet and look it up.
