Perfect finish to a 4-book series. (Although this is "volume 3", the first volume is really his first book - Pot Limit Omaha - The Big Play Strategy.) I big book full of hand examples - about 400 pages of them. I've read quite a few books on Omaha, and in my opinion nothing comes to close to this set. I think you learn best by a mix of theory and examples, and they're all covered here.

this book as well as every other book that jeff wrote is a must.

i can't begin to even tell you how much confidence it's given me in short handed games. if you ever played short handed, aggressive plays are where the money is made, and that's what this book will show you.

i don't remember getting a sudden revelation or feeling an overwhelming sense of confidence in my game after finishing this exact book, but i do know that after reading all of hwang's advanced PLO books, i starting building a really good understand of how this game is played.

i mean more beyond just the basics where you start just potting it every time you have a 13+ wrap or a set or whatever. i started to get an understanding of how to represent different hands and knew what to put my opponents on whenever they potted.

This book really lets the PLO player see hands that will play out. Also lets the player review his or her own play to make things go smoother at the tables.

As an avid reader of poker books, I can tell that mr. hwang has a lot of experience under his belt. He is not only hyper lag, but super good at his style.

I own the entire pot limit Omaha collection from mr. hwang in paperback, and I can testify that the books are well worth it, even primarily as a no limit hold'em player.

The books are definitely for advanced players who want to outplay their opponents on the felt, but also gain insight into how the professionals view hands when they are trying to win money or even accumulate chips in a tournament. The point is you can carry over what you learn in these books to the tables in no limit cash games, as well as most forms of poker.

If you understand how mr. hwang is processing hands when he outplays his opponents, you will better grasp your own game and what you are lacking. It is not about how good the author plays his hands or bluffs a big pot for example, but what you learn from the book and essentially plugging the leaks in your game.

I am still finishing volume 1, having read his first book. I also purchased volume 2 or 3, and am excited to take more out of my studies and apply the strategies to my matches.

I will undoubtedly become a better player the more I research mr. hwang's ideas and strategies. 5/5 stars for the whole series.
