I haven't read Mills and Boon for many a long year, my preferred genre being crime/thriller; but this book pleasantly surprised me. That isn't to say that there isn't a certain amount of heaving bosoms, bodice ripping and heartfelt sighs, but these are put within a novel with a much more modern feel. The author has put together a likeable group of characters and an (almost) convincing storyline. Divorcing Jenessa had seemed the only option, when Dr Angus McLeod couldn't give her the child she craved. Discovering Jen was pregnant was such a shock but he never stopped loving her. Genre: Romance.
