Talk about Science Experiments You Can Eat

I purchased this book for my 5 year old granddaughter who loves to do experiments. The book is good, has good recipes but is definitely geared toward older kids so there is a little more assistance and clarification required for kids younger than 9 years old. It was good to see that the book had been updated to take into consideration modern appliances.
My son loves this book!!! We have made a few of the things in this book and they are so easy to make. He thinks everything science is awesome, so being able to make science experiments that you can eat is double awesome! This book, and these experiments are great for a rainy day when they cant go outside! Whenever I get this book out, my son gets so excited, and I know that the kids in your life will enjoy it just as much as we have!
It's hard to rate this, my kids enjoyed a few of the experiments however they are still very young and I had a hard time getting them interested in the book as there were no pictures to look at.
The only thing I dislike here is that the description says ages 8 - 12, but the writing style (vocabulary) and lack of pictures is more appropriate for 12 and up. I am sure the experiments will be fun, but clearly I will have to "translate" this for my little one.
Cute book with good ideas for a science project or just fun. The print is quite large so it had less experiments than I thought it would for its size.
Great quality. Includes a lot of fun experiments. It will keep my 10 year old entertained for a long time.
This was a gift for my 7 1/2 year old granddaughter who is interest in Science, experiments and cooking. She loves it.
Good book filled with things kids can make and eat and learn
