FBI agents Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock return in a dazzling new thriller. Blowout takes excitement to an all-time high level. Married FBI agents Savich and Sherlock work and play hard: devoted to their jobs, their son, and each other, they approach each new case with gusto, and appreciate every moment of downtime they can grab. But a long weekend getaway at a secluded cabin in the Pennsylvania woods is cut short when the agents are summoned back to Washington, where a nightmare awaits them: The night before the Supreme Court is to hear opening arguments in a highly controversial death- penalty case, a prominent judge is murdered in the court's third-floor library. Savich and Sherlock are charged with heading the investigation but when the killings continue, each targeting another brilliant, successful Washington power broker, the agents are faced with their most baffling and shocking case of their lives. As dramatic and suspenseful as anything she's ever written, Blowout is Catherine Coulter at the very height of her storytelling powers.

Love the FBI series by Coulter! I enjoy the reoccurrence of Savich and Sherlock and the new characters with twists and turns of the plot. This story begins immediately with Savich in odd circumstances. The mysteries are fun to try and solve as you listen to the story unfold.

Was a good fast paced read and you really didn't figure out where the end was heading til very late in the book. The " new " couple were fun and had the usual happy outcome . Enjoy most of the FBI books but this was really a fun read ????

I read this book several years ago, and was pleased to be able to get it on my Kindle. Catherine Coulter is one of my favorite authors, and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good, exciting thriller!

Love that there are two stories in this book. Love the character of Ben. He was introduced in another book, but central character in this one. Intriguing story with a twist at the end. Another wonderful love story throughout the drama. Savich and Sherlock are the best!

Having read all of the authors FBI series, this one is a bit disconcerting. I normally don't mind the references to the supernatural but the first story line was a bit over the edge, as Savich meets and converses with ( and later helps to solve the mystery) a woman who coincidentally has been dead for years. The other story lines are a bit easier to follow, and the likeable and multi-talented FBI agents make the eerie story more palatable. I like all of the FBI series, but this was one of my least favorites of the group.

Savich and Sherlock, a great duo. Catherine Coulter always makes her characters feel like someone you want in your life.
crazy mashine
This was another good Coulter read but there was almost too much going on. It was kind of confusing to keep up with both plot lines. I'm also not too sure about the paranormal aspects of the story. It was a bit over the top.
Wonderful people in wonderful adventures...really enjoy each book!
Already have next three books!! Enjoying each one!! Don't want them to end!
