Talk about The Hundred Penny Box

Early Waffle
I was given the book and my own penny box for a birthday box. The following Christmas all my immediate family received one and we all enjoy keeping the pennies flowing for the birthday person.

This is a wonderful story and the seller sent it quickly. I collected pennies from about 50 different years and presented the book with the pennies taped inside to my 100 year old aunt. She loved it.

Great-great Aunt Drew kept a box of pennies….one for each year of her life. We are now starting to collect pennies with all different dates. When older friends come to visit they reach in, pull out a penny and try to remember something that happened to them during that year. Heartfelt story.

A well written, thought grabbing book about family. I loved this book - read it about 20 years ago and it has remained with me.
Very Old Chap
This is a heart-felt story dealing with several generations of a family. It paints a picture of emotions and family history and sense of love and commitment. I read this with my grandson and it opened up quite a dialogue. I highly recommend it.
Asyasya
An excellent book to have for adults and children.

I first saw this at my BFF's house. She gave one to each of her children along with a homemade bag for the pennies and a wooden box to put them in. I knew this was something I wanted to do for my granddaughter and gave her one for her 11 the birthday. Every year I give her a penny to put in that box to have a memory of that year of her life.in the future.
I loved them as well as my students.
