The subject of this volume is not so much the destruction of Hindu temples as the character of Islam – an imperialist ideology of terrorism and genocide masquerading as a religion, in fact, as the only true religion. It is high time for Hindus to see Islam not with its own eyes but from the viewpoint of the great spiritual vision which is their inheritance. ark:/13960/t3sv4w44c.

A must-read book for anyone who is interested in the history of what Hindus had to go through at the hands of Islamic invaders for close to thousand years. A few years ago essentially same was being done by ISIS against other religious minorities. Primary sources are mostly works of Islamic historians, who penned down these destructions as conquests of Islam over the 'infidel Hindus". One person found this helpful.

Just as Ambedkar’s critique of caste and Hinduism should be required reading for Hindus, Sita Ram Goel’s two-volume study on the destruction of Hindu temples by Muslim rulers ought to be read by all educated Muslims. Whitewashing the history does not heal There are hundreds of books, movies, articles, documentaries telling this in strong words. And rightly so !!! But when it comes to atrocities committed by Islamic invaders, we see total silence. Our history books hv been sanitized. Source: Hindu Temples: What Happened to Them, Vo.
