The Almanac of Investments.

The World Almanac and Book of Facts is a US-published reference work and is a bestselling almanac conveying information about such subjects as world changes, tragedies, and sports feats. It has been published yearly from 1868 to 1875, and again every year since 1886. It was number 1 on the Washington Post bestseller list on November 27, 2011.

This year heading the list is Michael Batnick’s Big Mistakes.

Not quite the track record of The Old Farmer’s Almanac, which launched in 1792, but presumably a tad more data driven. This year heading the list is Michael Batnick’s Big Mistakes. This almanac is full of data that will delight those traders who believe that past is prologue.

The South Coast Almanac Book Group. Real Estate Investment Firm. The Green Book Business Almanac.

Almanacs are of an ancient origin? Yes, one must start at least as early as 3000 . One can safely say that in most of the countries of the world, the almanac was the first publication. with the pyramids of Egypt, Latin America, and the South Seas. The word almanac is apparently of Arabic descent and means a timetable of the skies or, in other words, calendar of the heavens.

Akin to a sports almanac, SBBI delivers stock . This book published by the CRSP founders never developed into the series that the SBBI did.

The SBBI has evolved since 1977.

This book is useless to the average investor, who does not trade futures. Personally, I have experienced that trading around data releases is usually a zero-sum game. Part of that is due to the inaccuracy in the data.
