greed style
We had a hard time motivating our 7 yr old daughter to read, until I ran across the first one of this series at a thrift store. After bringing it home, she "glomped" onto it, and read the whole book in 2 days. Of course I rushed online to get the rest of the series, which my girl read in like a week and a half! This author has another unicorn series that I plan on getting as soon as we have the money saved up - my daughter is BEGGING me! I'm glad I was able to find the right motivation for her to delve into reading, though she isn't interested in much of any other type of book, sigh...

About the book: bright, sparkling characters, easy to read, a nice mixture of familiar and new words, cute pictures - and my daughter just loves how they all are helpful to each other, supportive, learning from mistakes, and forgiving each other. The series in general is NOT preachy or moralistic, but gently introduces the ideas of community and kindness, helpfulness and non-judgemental-ness (if that's even a word, lol!).

I can't see how you would regret buying this book or series for your little girl.

These books are hard to find, as most of the books that my daughter enjoys about horses are from the UK. It's nice when I find US sellers or sellers who ship quickly. An easy read for a 1st-4th grader and a nice break from the more complicated/boring required school books.
Morlurne
My daughter loves these books.
Love Me
I bought this for my niece in Alaska for Christmas. She really seemed to like it. She uses it often.
