Talk about Rich Girl, Poor Girl

My 2nd Lokko book. This author knows writing. She writes for the thinking woman but this doesn't mean this book is heavy or trying too hard. Quite the contrary. Her writing is colourful, sharp, intriguing. She is officially on my favourites list.
I love this authors books. Yes, she has a bit of a formula but it works for me and I really enjoy the settings for the books
Quite a good read but thought the end was all pulled together too quickly so spoilt it
Lesley Lokko writes beautifully, her characters are well-rounded, she sets the scene perfectly in the story and the background. Of the three books that I have read, she always matches up the white girl and the black boy (which is the background that she came from), however, after three books it got monotonous.
Another book I enjoyed reading from Lesley Lokko. Loved it from beginning to end. A good read that takes the reader into a world of all the complicated relationships in life and family.
Follows the same formula of the authors other books. Ends quickly and without full resolution. Gripping at times, feel this story could have come a fuller circle than it did.
Excellent authoress.well planned novel with real characters. The reader's mind never wanders from this exciting novel and the ending is surprising.
This is a book from one of my favorite authors hard to find in the U.S. so I got it directly from England at the incredible price of 2 cents! How can they do that? Awesome deal.
