Talk about The Age of Napoleon: Costume from Revolution to Empire, 1789-1815

Fararala
An excellent resource to the fashion of the era. This certainly helps dispel the ridiculous adage that everyone dresses like the English. The particulars of the Napoleonic court are discussed in detail. For fashion historians, this is a beautiful work.
Xlisiahal
This is an old but excellent exhibition publication (from the Met, I think). It has sections on court & military dress as well as everyday clothes.
