Very informative. I appreciate Tom's take on reading the water as it pertains to fly selection and technique. I would like colored pictures for some the smaller flies and nymphs shown. But a great book that translates well to the river. It has made me a better angler and I catch more fish using his tips techniques.

A great guide to approaching the river in a strategic way with methods that can be adapted to whatever conditions you face on the water. I think it's the most useful book on the subject, and is great for anglers of any level of skill.
