There are lots of photos and art in this book.

Treasures from the past minus the color, given that the plates are limited and most of the illustrations mixed with the text are moderate quality Black and White. The author is knowledgeable and balanced, but his language also lacks some color or verve.
Zicelik
It was alright for a used book. Just sucked that it fell apart after using it for a while.
Nidor
fell apart within a week.

Great photos and easy to read content; I highly recommend this book for amateur archaeology buffs, and even those interested in the history of ancient Greece.

Each period of Greek art is wonderfully explained in this text. It has great illustrations of the layouts of cities, too.

Very much a textbook. I bought this for a class and found it to be quite dry. I believe it would be more appreciated by someone truly interested in the subject matter, which unfortunately I was not.
The cover had a small fold , besides that it was just fine
