The book came in good condition, with little wear. It's not very big, and much lighter than most of my other textbooks.
I am using this textbook in my English 2010 class, Research Writing in the Persuasive Mode. We use the textbook, regularly. I struggle to read textbooks, because of how easily I get distracted. This textbook is much easier for me. I think it's a very helpful and informative text, written in a way that makes sense.

I am using the book to teach my classes on rhetoric at a major university. I like the methodology of the text which incorporates visual as well as prose argumentation. The writing also offers students the chance to learn from rhetorics to practice summaries and outlining.

The book is great, the condition was just okay. I rented this for a class. The book had quite a bit of writing in it but it still served its purpose.

This was a requirement for one of my courses but it was a great to help me pass the class and writing arguments both in English and political science.

We didn’t use it a lot in our semester but the few times we did it was very helpful.

Best price, perfect for my son in college

I didn’t much like the class and the material was .. alright. At some point it gets redundant and dry, plus the “in-class exercises” are weird. Very limited in content for the *new* price, but just fine if used I suppose. Not a great book if this stuff doesn’t interest you as part of your academic career.
Good book.
