The Heart of Mysticism is a collection of the monthly letters Joel Goldsmith sent to students from 1955 through 1959. Originally published as individual volumes for each year, this collective edition is the most comprehensive anthology of Joel s work in a single book and covers a vast range of topics. Each letter is a lesson in spiritual living and provides instruction in specific spiritual principles that can be applied in daily experience. Goldsmith considered his monthly letters to be a vital link with his students, in which he could communicate the deepest experiences that came during his ongoing class work. He once said, There is nothing more precious in our entire library than the Infinite Way Letters. Readers can browse the rich table of contents and find a Letter that resonates with a current life experience, or can work through the Letters month by month to follow five years of the work of one of the great mystical teachers of our time. After reading the Infinite Way, then reading The Heart of Mysticism, this book really helped me with understating this whole way of thinking. Highly recommended.

Another fine work presented by Joel Goldsmith to be passed along to his serious students of his "The Infinite Way". His presentation of a 'middle path,' that many of us have been searching for many years, is well explained and fills in many of the puzzle pieces that have been eluding many of us as 'seekers of Truth'. His books seem to 'fall off the shelves' for those looking to improve their understanding of mystical / Spiritual knowledge and reify our inert connections with God. These tapes, books, letters are always enlightening and leave a mark!

The Heart of Mysticism may be my new favorite Joel Goldsmith book. Having read several of his books numerous times, this one is all new material to me. Still Goldsmith's basic Infinite Way teaching, but somtimes a deeper explaination. Five years of monthly letters, sixty chapters and 1254 pages of enlightenment. You don't necessarily need to read the book cover to cover, but can just read any chapter for inspiration. A must have for anyone on the Spiritual journey.

This author is outstanding and I have read all his books. He is one of the most spiritual people I have read. You can start anywhere in any of his books and get something out of it. His message never gets old or out of date. These are words to live by. I am familiar with his writings since the early 1970's. I have heard him on tape but never had the honor of meeting him. This man is wise beyond belief and his message is truly spiritual bringing answers and comfort to everyone willing to partake. For anyone looking for direction he can't be beat. Bob V

I find that Joel Goldsmith is very readable and his message strikes me to the very core of my being.
Joel Goldsmith is a true mystic. His writings reveal that we are indeed "one with God." We are manifestations of God. "Closer is He than breathing, nearer than hands and feet."
