Vital Beast
The book is divided in two section. The first half recounts her struggle, and as a caregiver, I found much to identify with and be encouraged by. The second half was just painful, so much that I stopped partway through. Even skipping to the end didn't help.
Dagdage
This was not fun to read, but gives insight into a strong and brave woman who, apparently judging by her two more recent books, has not lost her sense of humor or belief in God in spite of trials. Had to read it after reading Confessions of . . . and Vicar's Wife on . . . by same author.
