Traveling the world, he became involved in lucrative businesses and was privy to many pieces of information of use to the British Secret Service. While not formally on the payroll of the intelligence agency, he beca Mr. Reilly was born outside Odessa, Russia. He was the only son of a well to do Jewish family. Upon reaching adulthood, he decided to leave Russia. He made his way in the world in many varied occupations, becoming among other things, the source of German ship design for the British.
